Four incidents of "real-world" violence -- but with demonic strength -- including murders, dismemberment, a dog eating a human organ. Considerable blood is seen, but the impact is lessened by dark lighting and a somewhat unreal mood.

The whole movie is about a female demon (fallen angel), going from Hell to the human world. Her devout desire to do God's will by killing is intense. The murder scenes, and the ones where Veronica threatens another woman are also pretty intense.
