Multiple innocent people are shot and killed throughout the movie, blood is usually seen. Characters are paranoid and scared for their lives. Most of the victims are teenagers.

In one scene, we see someone who survived a murder attempt, bleeding intensely (very grisly). We see doctors about to operate him (very grisly depiction of a survivor's wounds)

Innocent teenagers are chased and gunned down, sometimes very unexpectedly, the second half of the movie is very tense. The director/writer's intention was to depict the effects of gun violence, although this message can be easily missed.
