A man (possessed) leaves a mental hospital and returns to his fathers' home. Taking one of his father's high-powered rifles, he shoots his father dead. Next he begins killing off a priest, a rabbi, and a basketball coach.

A drunken co-worker tries to make a move on a woman he cares for. She resists him and he almost attacks her.

A shattered doctor tries to commit suicide by jumping from the roof of the hospital where he works. He jumps onto an inflated pad held by the police.

A woman is driving alone at night. Suddenly a face of a man (Mr. Frost) appears in the rear view mirror. She is frightened and slams on the brakes, causing the car to spin around.

One character has an obsession with smoking. He carries a pouch of tobacco and rolling papers. At least twice he attempts to roll a cigarette, then throws it down and produces a cigarette from a pack.

There is a lot of tension in various scenes. The ones with Frost are absolutely mesmerizing. He projects a sense of brooding evil. Sensitive persons might avoid this film, for it could stick in their memories and come back to haunt them.
