Very graphic violence is showcased in the film, such as frequent shootings, in which blood is drawn, as well as a fist fight between a officer and a gang member and a kid getting beat up as part of a gang initiation. There are some moments of police brutality. There is also a drive-by shooting occuring at a church, but no one is injured. That scene leads to a chase scene involving the cops and a few gang members that ends with the gang-members' vehicle crashing and exploding.
