Ritchie has a recurring dream of two planes colliding mid air and crashing. Killing his friend, in a later portion of the dream, we see his foot sticking out underneath plane wreckage as Ritchie screams in horror. He then wakes up. This is probably the most intense part of the film, made more intense by the fact that it really happened.
The scene where Ritchie, Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper get on the plane that took their lives could be quite emotional. As well as the reaction from the family afterward.
In one scene, Bob makes attempts to get into his house to see his newborn daughter. His mom and wife attempt to keep him out as he is intoxicated. Bob then kicks down his door and throws a bottle through the window screaming at them.
Bob comes off as very domestic, controlling and mildly violent toward his wife and occasionally family.
The final scene can be quite emotional to some. Dreaming of planes crashing and pieces about to land on characters (could be intense or shocking for some).
