Almost all of the movie is disturbing and intense, showcasing that the rat may show up anywhere at anytime. Additionally, we are treated to sevreral gross and stomach-churning closeups of the rat itself.
Many viewers will undoubtedly be disturbed by a scene when Peter Weller looks at several real pictures of rat-bite victims, as well a graphic film where rat eat and kill each other as well as their young.
There's also about 2 or 3 jump scares, the first of which is quite unexpected.
