Dorothy goes to get the powder of life but surprisingly mombi Wakes up and all the other heads just scream and scream. And then the headless body just gets up and chases after dorothy gale like a zombie

Dorothy is taken to a specialist who intends to treat her "hallucinations" with shock therapy. She and another girl escape while it is dark and pouring rain. They are chased down to the river, and they fall in.

Princess Mombi is a generally frightening character. She has a museum full of heads in glass cases, and she changes her head whenever she feels like it. She threatens to take Dorothy's head as well. And then after that dorothy goes to get the magical powder that can give inanimate objects life and then mombi Wakes up and the other heads just keeps screaming and then the headless body gets up and chases after dorothy gale like a zombie

The Wheelers are pretty scary characters, especially when they are chasing Dorothy around the courtyard, revealing their faces behind the masks, and cackling at her. One of them threatens to tear her into little pieces and throw her into the Deadly Desert.
