There is an extended scene where the main characters are swimming in a lake. A female character is topless for a good amount of that time with various moments where her breasts are easily seen and visible for long periods.

The gore is very light in this movie. the goriest death is the first, it shows little blood, but all deaths are very disturbing. the death scenes include:

male stabbed through the crotch with a machete

male pushed off a cliff and drowns

male stabbed in the stomach with a machete

female killed (method not seen)

male shot

male chokes on a girl's fist

3 uses of shit, 1 use of son of a bitch, damn and hell, are said infrequently, and 1 use of asshole. And 1 use of s*l*. EDITOR'S NOTE: I have changed this asterisk-laden post to put in real words, but even I am at a loss to work out what "s*l*" could mean. This illustrates the pointlessness of trying to disguise what words are in the script: parents cannot make decisions about children's viewing without access to real information.

Just Before Dawn has a lot of suspense, and the death scenes are extremly disturbing, and alot of jumps. most of the movie (after about 30 min.) is when it gets intense.
