O'Brien does a "smash & grab" of a woman's purse in her car when it stops at a traffic light, then assaults a man who chased him into an alley, leaving a bloody wound on the man's forehead. Both of these crimes are to obtain money for a "rod" (firearm).
A shootout erupts in a street, leaving several characters dead and another shootout, drive-by style, occurs later.
O'Brien is seen with a severely cut and scarred face after the accident. This condition remains for some time.
A young prisoner is raped (mostly offscreen) and then thrown off a ledge, killing him.
Several fights and scuffles over the course of the film, often with bloody results. There are also many intense scenes in which prisoners threaten each other.
O'Brien beats two other prisoners with a pillow case full of Coke cans. They are seen with bloody faces afterwards.
A man is killed in a drive-by shooting. We see his bloody corpse.
