Beach Patrol (1979)

Jan Plummer is a comely female cop who transfers from the narcotics division in a Los Angeles police department and is assigned to a special police team patrolling California's beaches in dune buggies where she spots a fugitive drug kingpin and soon finds herself targeted for murder.
