A Last Cry for Help (1979)

Sharon appears to be a normal 17-year-old girl with good grades, many friends, and a wonderful personality--and a home life constrained by her parents' pressures on and expectations for her. As she slowly spirals downward, her parents hardly notice except for her mother once telling her she has no business being unhappy. Finally she gulps down a bottle of sleeping pills. She is found and saved, but for how long?
