Frequent sexual dialogue throughout the film.

A soldier loses a testicle to an enemy landmine (very bloody).

Childbirth scene inside an abandoned German tank (no nudity).

Use of condoms on the ends of rifles to protect against salt water, and in place of gloves in a childbirth scene.

Frequent war violence.

Some gore (i.e. a dead man is seen with his intestines spilling out, etc.)

Not as gory as Saving Private Ryan or other such films, but still disturbing.

There is one clear use of the name of Jesus.

"Shit," "goddamn," "asshole," "son of a bitch," "bastard," and other mild curses are used throughout, as well as sexual language and ethnic slurs about Germans and Italians.

Frequent drinking.

One of the main characters smokes a cigar throughout the movie.

Many scenes, including the battle on Omaha beach and the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp, are very disturbing. Also, the Battle of the Kasserine pass early in the film is very tense.
