An angry mob comes to kill a man suspected of causing havoc but are suddenly dispersed at the sound of a whinnying horse.

A baboon is seen in the opening scene. Later it is seen dead.

A man throws a woman off a stairway railing.

A man carries a screaming woman to his lab.

It is said that various glass vials contain the souls of the dead.

A dead man is seen sitting in a chair.

A man knocks out a woman using chloroform.

A man, seemingly attacked by spirits of the dead, falls from an upper staircase to his death. Blood is seen on his face.

Various chemicals are seen in a lab.

A man uses chloroform to make a woman unconscious.

The entire film contains tension and the threat of something strange or violent happening throughout. A lab with colored beakers, a voodoo doll, a strange man hiding in an attic, a judgmental mother who hates her son's fiancée and a snake terrifying a horse are just some of the things seen. Even so, these are mild. Young children or sensitive persons might be upset to see the crawling snake.
