A man who is implied to be a homosexual, knocks a woman out with his elbow after she makes a sexual advance on him.
Whilst being very violent for the time, this film is nowhere near as brutal as Peckinpah's movies such as 'The Wild Bunch' and 'Cross Of Iron'.
An entire family are shot. Alot of this is depicted in brutal slow motion. Among these victims is an innocent elderly woman. This is very intense and bloody.
A woman allows a pair of rapists to have their way with her in return for the safety of her lover. This is disturbing but the act is shown offscreen and implied. There is still strong sexual threat which some may find disturbing however.
