Two women are killed (off-screen). One is seen strangled and the other bleeding from the head.

A woman is killed with an axe (off-screen). The body is not shown, but the police inspector remarks that he has never seen a body hacked up so badly.

A doctor remarks that some vials of morphine have been stolen from his medical bag.

The main character murders several people (mostly off-screen). There are a couple of bloody scenes with an axe which might frighten children.
