A witch is bound and hung over a firepit. She is threatened with fiery death unless she confesses the whereabouts of the witch Oona. Screams are heard but no torture is seen.

A village girl is bound to a wagon wheel and pressed for information. When she confesses none, she is burned (off-screen). Her screams are heard and afterward only a bunch of clothing remains.

A witch's throat is slashed. She bleeds and soon dies.

Many are seen drinking. Men are seen under the influence of alcohol.
