The Legend of Boggy Creek (1972)

This documentary-style drama which questions the existence of a terrifying monster that haunts an Arkansas swamp is actually more of a charming glimpse into lower-class back-country early-1970s swamp culture, complete with catchy folk music, than a monster flick.
