The Cosmically Unlikely Case of Becky Wilson's Chronologically Confused Handbag (2017)

A young woman, Becky Wilson, finds out she has cancer and compulsively buys a handbag which turns out to be capable of time travel, which captures the attention of a future being. Through the narrator's study of the handbag Becky's struggle with grief is explored as she becomes alienated from those around her. In the end the Handbag shows Becky the absurdity of life and the Narrator in turn becomes infatuated with Becky.
