Banana Bread (2017)

Jade's life is in a time loop. Every day, she does the same exact thing: she bakes banana bread. It is human nature to live life on auto-pilot, and only a lucky few experience moments of genuine awakening. Moments when something deep within the subconscious crawls out from within to grab us by the collar and shake us to the core. Jade receives this moment of awakening in the form of a phone call from the red telephone in her apartment. She answers the call, but there is no one on the other line. The cord has been cut. And we understand that she is trapped forever. She, like many others, cannot escape this prison of her own creation: her life.
