A boxer, upset and demoralized is about to quit the sport. Until, a hand picks him up and motivates him to fight back. The boxer resumes training, gears up for his bouts and gradually starts winning matches. He starts confiding in his new found mentor, regaining his lost confidence and enjoying the victories. He starts preparing for the final showpiece event of the year and starts seeing images of all his opponents, whom he already had defeated. However, in this self-pride and over-confidence, be it from arrogance or ignorance he hits the coach hard as for him the coach is the next big and unconquered target. How does the coach feel, let alone react as a mentor? Perhaps, heart-broken or maybe even revengeful? With the confidence and fight-back in the hard punch he received, the coach reflects whether he has groomed his player well? Victory capitalizes on these shades of gray in the human mind and in the end we get to see the real hero of the film.
