Lettres à Marie (1991)

1916 We are in the middle of trench warfare. To survive, Sergeant Dubreuil fights against a German and kills him. On his corpse, he discovers a letter addressed to his wife who like his name is Marie - This German is none other than Franz Marc the Expressionist painter .
