Sexual slavery is a major theme of the movie, but there are no sex scenes. The sexual abuse is implied and understood but not shown. A character becomes pregnant. A character was infected with a sexually transmitted disease. There is one scene where the girls and women are ordered to change clothes, but their undergarments cover them as much or more than a tank top and shorts.

In a few scenes, people are shot, and blood spatters the snow. Bleeding bodies are scene lying in the snow.
