In one scene, there is a very brief shot of gore, blink of an eye.
We see numerous people getting killed by animatronics, blood in each one, not strong.
This film has quite a bit of violence, but nothing really very strong.
The animatronics can be found creepy to young children.
Nic Cage goes into the bathrooms in one scene and finds "it's your birthday" written in blood on the mirror.
In the background of some scenes you can see blood.
A human is ripped in half. May be intense for some audience.
The film has one instance of gore but it is not noticeable unless you know when to pause the movie and look for it. (The gore is very hard to see though.)
Rated R for strong violence, language, sexuality and drug use.
There are tons of people attacked and/or killed by killer robots and vice versa. There's stabbings, people in a car lit on fire, a man is decapitated, a man's neck is snapped, a woman split in half, people eaten alive, blood shown in some scenes but it's a dark movie so it's not so visible. Many of the robots are killed in complete rage repeatedly as in overkill.
The "blood" of animatronics is actually OIL, but the movie makes it seem blood.
A boy's neck is snapped by the tongue of the chameleon animatronic.
An animatronic decapitates a person.
Children are seen getting killed by animatronics.
A car is set on fire and explodes, killing two people inside.
