The legendary Turtle Trading experiment -- best friends, Richard Dennis and William Eckhardt made a bet. The goal of the experiment was to settle a philosophical disagreement between the two partners, whether the skills of a successful trader could be reduced to a set of rules - i.e. can trading be taught, or is it something you're born with? The experiment was overwhelmingly successful and the novice traders ended up making over a hundred million dollars within four years. Eckhardt, who believed trading could not be taught, lost his bet with Dennis. The classic debate of nature vs. nurture put on display through twenty-three unique individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds, told through the eyes of one unfamiliar turtle, Lucy Wyatt. Best friend and comrade to Dennis and Eckhardt, Lucy was there the day the bet took place and subsequently became intertwined as the story unfolded.
