There is a domestic abuse theme and we see members of a family exchange slaps. It's meant to be fake but the scenes are disturbing, paired with the movie's dark humor.

There is moderate bad language ('slut', 'bitch') and bleeped strong language ('f**k', 'motherf--'), as well as milder terms including 'crap', 'shit' and 'damned'. The discriminatory term 'f***ot' is used (bleeped) towards a transsexual character.
