The boy Min'ka, together with his sister Lyolya, was very fond of having dinner with adults. But the kids didn't just sit next to each other, but invariably tried to make jokes in order to seem very witty and erudite to their father's and mother's friends. At first, adults liked these tricks of children very much, and they laughed with pleasure at children's jokes. However, a very stupid situation soon arose.
