Color the World (2015)

Emily, who is Deaf, is not allowed to learn Sign Language. Her Mother insists she learn lip-reading and to speak. One day, they both wish upon a star, and in "freaky Friday" style, they switch bodies until they can resolve their differences. The mother gets to experience what life is like for her Deaf daughter. They come to an understanding and, together, learn American Sign Language, and are both happier together. The film is Black and White until they learn to sign, and then the world has color.
