The Secret of Boomer Lake

An orphaned teen is sent to relatives in a remote lakeside village and comes to believe she must protect the eggs of a legendary Loch Ness type creature. Her misadventures turn the drab lives of the villagers upside down as she learns to cope with loss, loneliness and growing up but ultimately revealing to all those around her, the true Secret of Boomer Lake.
