The short stories become more dark and twisted as the film progresses. One character is in a vegetative state and is quite hard to watch. One story deals with a child murderer which is also quite hard to watch at times.

Despite some of the dark subject matter, the film is close to Creepshow in terms of structure and humour.

Some of the creature designs may be scary to younger viewers.
