Theater im Knast (2014)

Most of the prisoners in JVA Tegel have long sentences to consider and pull through. Spiegel TV accompanies the amateur actors behind bars from the first rehearsals of Ernst Toller's "The Machine Wreckers" to the big performance and shows that in some tough guys there is also a soft core and a lot of acting talent. The prison theatre project AufBruch/Berlin has been active since 1997.
