Jo is in her 60s. Her husband recently drowned and died at sea whilst swimming one day. Overcome by grief and loneliness, Jo decides to learn how to swim. What starts out as a way to connect to her dead husband becomes a source of joy for her. We see her gain in strength and confidence. All leading her back to the sea. Where she swims out and out. Is this about conquering the sea that killed her husband; proving to herself that she can swim; or is she swimming to join him?
