Justice for the A16 Pigs: A Joint Action by Viva!, Save Movement UK & Surge, Monday 16 January 2017 (2017)

VIVA, Surge and Save Movement UK paid their respects to the victims of the A16 crash that took place in Wednesday the 11th January 2017, and educated the Waitrose shoppers at John Lewis HQ and the Marylebone Waitrose store in London. 180 pigs became victims when the lorry they were transported with crashed with the A16. Up to 40 pigs had to be slaughtered on the roadside because of the horrific injuries they got during the crash, while the rest were transported further to their original destination, Tulip Abattoir, to get killed.
