My Aqal (2018)

Somali-American performance artist Ifrah Mansour enlisted community support to build an artistic representation of a Somali nomadic house that stood for one night in an urban Minneapolis park. From elders to children, many hands came together to build the structure as part of Northern Spark 2017.
