Han Zi'ang tries bribing a guard with a VR headset that has a sticker of a scantily clad woman on it. Later, the guard is seen wearing the headset as he leaves a room, hurriedly zipping up his pants.

People carry fire arms but never use them on others.

Minimal violence featured. The film contains intense sequences of sci-fi action and peril as characters battle to survive destruction. A few deaths, but without any gore.

English subtitles have far more heavy profanity than original Chinese.

English audio has a couple of barely-audible and easily-missed F bombs. Reported that the subtitles gratuitiously contain much more-- a trend in American subtitling that is inexcusable considering sticking to the integrity of the original film.

Since this is a sci-fi disaster movie, people are never chased by aliens or other enemies whatsoever. However some scenes where characters are escaping earthquakes are pretty intense, as are some where rocks fall upon people. Other than that, the movie contains no frightening materials. I wouldn't mind taking my 10 year old daughter to the movie.
