Cyrus the Good (2017)

Prompted by a humbling attempt to interpret Farsi for a JFK detainee, and in realizing that he has become estranged from his cousin, Cyrus resolves to reconnect with his Persian roots. He simultaneously takes his cousin, Dariush, in to stay with him, while maintaining the lie that he is still in medical school, lest news get back to his family back home that he dropped out in order to pursue a career in comedy.
