Debigarjan (1984)

Debi Garjan is a social drama, set in a tribal village of Bengal, set right after Independence. It deals in the themes of the zamindars and their oppression on poor farmers. And also talks about the greed for wealth and the sinful lust of man, which breaks families and ruins lives. The movie ends on a realistic note, showing how life turns out the way you choose it to be.
