Hopes and Dreams (2017)

Pouri is an Iranian actress living in LA who gets a role offered in a major movie. On that same day, her green card gets denied. In order to stay in the country to make it as an actress, she puts an ad on Craigslist to find an eligible American she can marry for a green card. She goes out on dates with a bunch of them but none of them are even remotely charming or decent men. Out of the blue, she bumps into an acquaintance she hasn't seen him in a while. He would be perfect but Pouri realizes what it would mean if she uses a person in that way. Especially when he has obvious feelings for her.
