Joseph dreams that he is getting married; He never dreamed of getting married. Yet: If Joseph marries the strange girl of his landlord, his rents of delay will be amnestied. And his father, whose existence he has just learned, will pay him a large sum of money. He will no longer have to take himself for Raskolnikov and strangle this landlady ready to tear her heart away, nor to marry that girl whom he does not perhaps love. But if Joseph does not marry, will his father still be able to attend a ceremony that will not take place? The serpent dies the tail, the labyrinth is endless, and for Joseph K. there is only one possible outcome (or not).
