Stringer (2004)

Stringer, a New Zealand Sci-Fi movie which follows a photojournalist's return to NZ where he discovers and explores the link between a lengthy chest scare and a localized outbreak of a plague like infection. He unearths a secret science research facility and attempts to expose their nefarious deeds to the media.
