Yajie, a mistress of a government official in Beijing, is in her 30s, out of shape and losing popularity. After the official was put into prison, she returned Chongqing her hometown that she left twenty years ago to start a new life. Gao Jie, a taxi driver, whose mother became a vegetable at a medical accident. He divorced and brought up his son Gao Yuan alone. Yajie told Gao Jie that she had the operation made. In a hotel, they suddenly stopped while they took off their clothes halfway. That was their last meeting.
