An Evening with Donald Kempinski

Donald Kempinksi went blind in his sleep and has been sailing down the long river of "Denial" ever since. His refusal to accept his blindness has turned him into a curmudgeonly, irascible git. As a result he's lost his wife, his daughter and his friends. He relies on routine to survive, wearing a groove in the same piece of East Village sidewalk every day. But one night, his birthday night, fate steps in and leads him down a path that will change his life forever.
