The Big Questions in Life (2018)

A little girl waits at a cafe whilst her mother has gone to run errands. She enjoys the best cake in the world and the fact that she is big enough to be out on her own. But time drags on when you're waiting and, bored, she starts to explore the cafe and ponder about "the big questions in life". There are fascinating things and fascinating people in the cafe - like the friendly waiter, the pretty waitress, the strange family celebrating grandma's birthday and an interesting boy who cannot help but get into trouble. The sweet and innocent world of a child meets the more serious world of grown-ups. And just when it gets interesting, mom is there to pick her up, leaving some important questions up in the air.
