The theme for World Down Syndrome Day this year is #MyVoiceMyCommunity, "enabling people with Down syndrome to speak up, be heard, and influence government policy and action, to be fully included in the community." We talk to Ancella Ramjas who is the National Executive Director of Down Syndrome South Africa as she tells us about the capabilities of people with Down Syndrome and adding them in sports and in the community at large.
