When an alien creature comes up from beneath the ground, the tremors cause a man in a wheelchair to fall down a hill. He is shown with a bloody nose and a few other minor injuries.
Flying alien creatures that resemble dragons attack cities and aircraft throughout the film. They breathe fire or energy, which destroys many buildings and fighter planes and choppers. Few deaths are shown in detail, but it is stated that many people have been killed. None of the attack scenes have much, if any, gore.
A building collapses, injuring a couple people. Again, there is not much gore.
Fighter planes shoot at the aliens, sometimes injuring them. The aliens fight back, killing some of the pilots.
The film follows several disabled veterans. While their injuries occurred before the film takes place, they sometimes talk about what happened, and they are shown using prosthetic limbs, wheelchairs, and crutches as a result of these injuries.
While attacking a plane, an alien creature injures itself. Some blood is shown on the ground, and the creature is seen later with an open, bleeding wound.
