Frenching (2010)

Anglophone Joe Ollmann recently moved to Montreal. He is caught off guard by how French he believes the city to be, and not just in the odd "movie stereotype" French person, but people of all walks of life and of all ages. Not speaking or understanding French well, he sees the Frenchness as a conspiracy against him personally. As he fumbles his way through day-to-day life in his broken French, which is not improving, he believes he has figured out a way to live his life more comfortably in this foreign environment than actually learning the language of the land.
