Jane (2018)

As she moves away from her small hometown, Jane, isolated by the identity crisis being mixed race has brought on, rediscovers a childhood audio diary. As she listens to her 6th grade self navigating her introduction into a world where skin color matters one question surfaces: Will Jane allow others' perceptions to continue shaping her life, or will she begin to live on her terms?
