The Five Fingers are Brothers and inseparable friends. The trouble begins when they find a beautiful wooden chest, filled with all sorts of colorful objects perceived as "treasures". The Brothers are so excited about their find, they start fighting with each other over the "treasures". Their friendship is forgotten. Separated from one another by conflict, they run into all sorts of problems: one Brother is kidnapped by a magpie, another is attacked by a swarm of bees, the third brother is trying to escape from a mouse. The Brothers eventually find each other. Their next challenge is helping the big rubber Ball, that's stuck between the rocks. The ball is crying for help. Brothers are taking turns trying to push the ball through. The ball says: "The five of you together are much stronger than the strongest one alone." The Brothers realize how silly they were to forget their friendship because of a beautiful object. Together they help the ball, unblock the road, and are on their way home, friends again.
