Fulton Bengis is a maverick scientist/doctor in love with Alison Wintergreen, a young heart surgeon. The problem with their relationship is he has fear of commitment/marriage. So when his Nanoprobes invade a dying Alison instead of curing her, they kill her and resurrect her into a dangerous being, Fulton must stop her.
