Through the Cracks (2016)

Dylan Austin lives a life under the radar. He was born at home in California in 1992, but the midwife never issued a birth certificate and his parents never followed up. Now he's 24 years old and lives in Virginia. Dylan has no social security number, no bank account, no driver's license, and little choice in his life - all because there are no documents proving when and where he was born. "Through the Cracks" tells the story of how Dylan lives, works, and exists outside of a system that has no idea how to let him in.
