Scattered (2017)

Scattered is a dark comedy about two women scattering their mutual friend's ashes in the wild. The two are not particularly close, but were asked by their deceased friend, Barb, to scatter her ashes. The only instruction she gave them was the location, a rushing river in the wild. The rest is up to them. Amy wants desperately to be poetic and profound, while Cynthia, flat out, does not want to be doing this. In the end, just like in life, Barb has the last laugh.
